Acorán, belonging to the Southwest District of Santa Cruz, is one of the last areas of expansion of the city. A seemingly disproportionate growth in an isolated nucleus, has generated urban disorder that affects the smooth functioning of basic infrastructure. Cleaning, and urban services provision, not what the locals expect.
A follower of the blog, Alberto Aldave sent us some pictures of the area, where we see the poor state of conservation and environmental degradation. The passivity of the municipal authorities are mixed with the lack of civility of some "citizens" who used this area as a rubbish dump, trash and rubbish.
